Frequently Asked Questions

PCB assembly — common questions

Ask a specialist
01What files do you need to quote PCB assembly?

Gerber (or ODB++), BOM in Excel, and a pick-and-place file (.csv or .pos). Assembly drawings are helpful for orientation-sensitive components.

02Can you source components for us?

Yes — we maintain direct accounts with Digi-Key, Mouser, Arrow, Avnet and 300+ Chinese authorized distributors. Our team flags obsolete parts and proposes footprint-compatible alternatives with your approval.

03Do you handle both SMT and through-hole in the same order?

Yes — mixed-technology assembly is our default. THT insertion is done manually or via selective-solder depending on volume.

04What testing is included?

100% AOI + X-ray is included on every order. In-circuit test (ICT), flying-probe, functional test and burn-in are available as add-ons, or included in turnkey packages.

05What is the lead time for assembly?

5–10 business days for turnkey prototypes, 10–15 days for medium runs, 15–25 days for high-volume. Quick-turn 24–72 hour service available on simple boards when components are in stock.
