Finishes

Every finish done in-house

Finishing is where outsourced metal jobs go wrong. We brush, passivate, powder-coat and silk-screen on the same floor — so quality stays traceable.

  • Powder coat (RAL / Pantone match)
  • Anodize — clear, black, blue, red
  • Stainless bead-blast + passivate
  • Chemical conversion (Alodine)
  • Zinc plate + chromate
  • Brushed / polished (stainless)
  • Silk-screen logos & legends
  • EMI gasket install

Frequently Asked Questions

Metal enclosure FAQ

Ask a specialist
01What file formats do you accept?

STEP, IGES, DXF, DWG, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor. For quote purposes a flat-pattern DXF is fastest; for production we prefer a STEP.

02Do you have a minimum order?

Qty 1 for prototypes. Tooling fees apply only for high-volume (> 1,000 units) where we invest in dedicated dies; up to qty 1,000 we run on shared CNC brake tooling with no NRE.

03Can you hit IP65 / NEMA 4?

Yes — through welded seams, continuous gasket grooves, and pressure-tested lid gasketing. We’ll submit the final assembly for IP65 drip-test on production lots as a QC option.

04What’s a typical lead time?

Prototype (1-5 enclosures): 7-10 working days. Production (50-500 units): 3-4 weeks including powder coat. Quick-turn aluminum boxes in 5 days on request.
