What we pay attention to
The unglamorous details that decide yield
- Low-CTE laminate for lead-free reflow
- Resin content tuned per layer
- Pressed-fit ready drilled via walls
- AOI at inner-layer + outer-layer
- Controlled impedance stack-up
- Dry-film photoresist for ≤3 mil trace
- X-ray layer-to-layer registration
- Electrical flying-probe test

Frequently Asked Questions
FR-4 FAQ
01What’s the difference between standard and halogen-free FR-4?
Halogen-free FR-4 replaces brominated flame retardants with phosphorus-based compounds. Thermal and electrical properties are near-identical; halogen-free is required for EU RoHS-sensitive markets and medical.
02Should I spec Tg 170 or Tg 180?
Tg 170 is the sweet spot for 99% of industrial and automotive work. Tg 180 only adds real value for under-hood automotive (125 °C+) or when you need ≥ 5 reflow cycles.
03Is FR-4 good for RF up to 2.4 GHz?
Yes — FR-4 works for Wi-Fi / Bluetooth / Zigbee up to ~3 GHz with controlled stack-up. For higher frequencies (5G, 77 GHz radar), switch to a Rogers or ceramic substrate.
04What’s the lead time?
48 hours for 2-layer, 5 days for 4-layer, 7-10 days for 6 to 12-layer. High-layer-count (16+) typically 12-15 days. Quick-turn tiers published separately.
