Frequently Asked Questions

Enclosure FAQ

Ask a specialist
01Can you design the enclosure from my PCB?

Yes — send us your board outline + critical dimensions and we’ll design the enclosure for you. Mechanical engineers on staff, 5–10 day concept-to-STEP.

02Machined aluminum vs injection molded — which is cheaper?

Under ~500 units: CNC wins (no tooling). Over ~2,000 units: molded ABS wins thanks to per-part economics. Between those, it depends on geometry complexity — we’ll run a break-even analysis in the quote.

03Can you handle IP67+ sealing?

Yes. We design for compressible silicone gaskets, glued joints, and overmolded strain relief. IP67 tested with submersion; IP68 adds pressure cycling.

04Do you do drop / vibration testing?

Yes — in-house drop tester (1 m) and vibration shaker (up to 5 g, 5–2,000 Hz). Test reports included with the enclosure certification.
