Flex PCB Assembly
Flex assembly — 100,000+ bend cycles qualified.
A dedicated flex-assembly cell with vacuum conveyors, custom soft tooling and a low-stress pick-and-place profile to prevent bend-fatigue cracks. Rigid-flex, pure flex and folded-FPC wearables all supported.

Why flex needs different tooling
Rigid SMT tooling doesn’t work on flex

Frequently Asked Questions
Flex assembly FAQ
01Do I need special files for flex assembly?
Same files as rigid (Gerber / ODB++). We just need you to mark the flex zones, rigid islands, and required bend directions on the mechanical drawing.
02Can you solder 01005 components on flex?
Yes, but only on rigid-island regions of a rigid-flex board. On pure flex we recommend 0201 minimum to minimize stress on solder joints at the edge of the bend zone.
03Is there a 100k-cycle validation report?
Yes — for every new flex program, a sample goes through IPC TM-650 2.4.3 bend-cycle testing. We ship the signed report alongside the first article.
04What’s the lead time?
Prototype: 10-12 working days including jig cut. Production: 4-5 weeks. Repeat runs in 10-14 days once the soft tool exists.
